My favorite birthday memory would have to be.. growing up we never had a lot of money so instead of presents (we couldn’t afford them) my mom would let us choose what we wanted for our special birthday dinner. She would try to get us a cake but that wasn’t always a possibility so we were happy with dinner. We got to go to the store and get the ingredients and to us kids, it was enough. We didn’t whine and complain about what we didn’t have or what we wanted and weren’t getting. We were just happy that we were together and actually having something for dinner.

Last year, my husband set up a surprise lunch with my parents and brother (they lived 4 hours away and we didn’t see each other often). It was great! My first birthday as a mother and I got to see all my loved ones.

Happy Birthday! August is a great month! I just turned 30 on August 4th, no kidding!! (I blogged about it, if ya want to peek)
My favorite birthday memory is when I got my first bike. It was bubble gum pink with a white, banana seat, and a white basket on the front. The kind of basket with the plastic flowers. I remember it so vividly because I knew that my parents worked hard to be able to get it for me.
A $50 shop credit to Gussy’s shop would be an awesome gift for a great birthday month! I would definitely go for a lap-top bag.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway Cindy! My favorite birthday memory is probably right before I went off to college. It was just me and my parents and they bought me a guitar. It was nice because those moments would happen less and less as i was moving off.

My favorite Bday memory is a recent one…. I was pregnant, had just gotten released from SIXTEEN weeks of strict bed rest, and was waiting for our first child to arrive (he came 9 days later). My hubby (his bday is the day after mine) and I went out for dinner at a fancy restaurant to celebrate the coming baby, both birthdays and the release from bed rest.
My Fav Gussy item is the damask tote. LOVE IT!

My favorite birthday memory was being on our honeymoon 7 years ago…and being stranded in Manhattan due to that huge blackout (you guys remember that?). We had to sleep on the ground of the tiny hotel lobby. It was still my favorite birthday because I was so happy to be married to the best other half there is. And 7 years later, I still hold the same sentiment.
I LOVE Gussy’s stuff! Ruffly ruffly ruffly! I think my favorite item is the red umbrella clutch.
