When Bailey started crawling I knew soon enough that she would be doing other things ::okay denial chimes in:: ::standing:: and the ::”w” word:: sooner than later. About a week after she was crawling all around the house, I went into the kitchen to get some cereal to come back to this:
I was so amazed, I grabbed my camera (which I keep on the end table in the living room!)
At this moment, my baby, my little baby looked so grown up and big
But with standing comes falling, and she took it well
I then scooped my big looking baby up, and realized she is still my little baby
::Happy Sighs:: Bailey, your Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for standing and falling with a smile

woooo whooo wtg! Awesome job she’ll be on the move soon. aww poor baby fall down and go boom. hugs sweetie that happens a lot til they get sturdy on their feet

Her sleeper, I would love to tell you where exactly I got it, but I got it at the used children’s store. It is the softest little sleeper! When it is out of the wash I can take a look at the brand, I think someone might have made it though!
They grow up so fast. I want my little guy to stay little for a while longer because I know he is my last baby.

Thanks! We have done a little babyproofing! I am seeing what she gets into and what she does not care about (of course all the dangerous stuff is done like outlets, corners, oven, locks on cleaning supply cabinets, etc.) but shelves with books I am waiting to see.
Uh oh! I can’t believe she’s already standing up! Jr is still refusing to crawl but he army crawls with the best of ‘em. He’s so close to crawling and has actually taken a crawling step but hasn’t figured it out, yet. He’s been wanting to stand, when you hold him, though, so I bet he’s right behind Bailey.
He will be there any day! Bailey never really army crawled at all, she did some major scoots and rolls and then a lot of rocking until she was full on crawling! I can not believe she is standing and trying to walk
HA! I know I shouldn’t laugh, but Charlotte gets the same look sometimes when she falls =)
I can imagine! Bailey gets this stunned look, and sometimes giggles, sometimes cries the help me I can not get up cry! It is funny!
She’s growing up so fast Cindy! But don’t be sad cause just think of all the other things you could be doing with her like bike rides, swimming, flying a kite, baking, throwing the ball around. So many things await you both in this wonderful journey. Have fun every step of the way my friend

I loved this post – only b/c my DH and I were talking about this very thing last night. Just last Thursday, DD started to crawl and by last night she was pulling up and standing in her room. How does it happen so fast?!?!?
